A Genealogical Odyssey
What sets this project apart is the integration of a genealogy database, an online trove that stitches into the historical tapestry of the Grand Haven area. Marriages, births, deaths – this digital repository pulls together the lives of generations past. The inclusion of map images paints a vivid picture of how the region has evolved over time.

Summer Reading Program Rebranded
Dog Ear was also tasked to rebrand Loutit’s popular summer reading program. We came up with a new logo highlighting the elements of Grand Haven the community celebrates, along with design and brand elements to use across promotional materials and websites.
A Grand Rapids Touch
While the Grand Rapids roots of Dog Ear run deep, the focus of this project was firmly on elevating the digital presence of the Loutit Library in Grand Haven. The collaborative efforts between our Grand Rapids team and Grand Haven librarians culminated in a website that embodies the spirit of Michigan’s west coast and heritage.
