Social Coffeehouse and Speakeasy Cocktail Bar
The first logo update was a small change. Dog Ear originally created Social Coffeehouse and Speakeasy’s logo in 2017. Now, more than two years later, they had a dilemma. Instead of two separate entities separated by walls (coffeehouse and speakeasy) they wanted to combine the coffeehouse with an open cocktail bar. All of Social’s marketing materials, business cards website, and social profiles sported the logo with 'Speakeasy'. They emailed Dog Ear for help, and we were more than happy to oblige!
Dog Ear updated all of Social’s logo files, website pages, business cards, punch cards, gift cards and social media profile pictures to reflect the new text. We had all the necessary files ready and sent in 24 hours.
Six 1 Xis Genetics
Our next tale is a cautionary one. We started working with Six 1 Xis, a local cannabis dispensary, a few months ago. They came to us with a logo and brand from another hired designer. However, when researching competitors, the owner noticed that the logo they were given was already in use by another cannabis business.
We were able to turn disaster into a positive brand change. Six 1 Xis is based around the founder's vision of sustainability and environmental consciousness. Their current, copied brandmark didn’t capture that vision. Dog Ear was able to create a truly unique logo with colors that represented Six 1 Xis perfectly. And we were able to do it quickly, with a new brand and completely new website design up and running in two weeks!
