Six.1.Six Genetics wants to be the future leader in sustainable cannabis distribution. As the cannabis market expands in Michigan, smaller competing companies need to stand out from the pack. We designed and developed a site that fit the needs of Six.1.Xis, was 100% responsive, and was optimized with only a 1.9s load time.
Hosting and WordPress Set Up
Six1Xis was starting from scratch, save for a domain name they had purchased on GoDaddy. Dog Ear's partner Black & White Standard set them up on WordPress with the necessary plugins, theme builder and performance optimization.
Web Design: Building out the Site
After the initial installation, Dog Ear Marketing laid out what their brand would look and feel like site-wide. Six1Xis's major goal was to attend conferences and marketing events and point potential investors to the site to read their business plan. With this in mind, Dog Ear built a site that was serious, trustworthy and easily navigated. Every site we build is responsive, fitting on all devices. We also provided the photos, photo editing and copy for the site that was quickly reviewed by the Six1Xis team. They were able to have a completely hands-off web creation experience as they focused on sales. The design below is what we implemented for them!
Performance and Optimization
After going live, our back-end partner, Black & White Standard, was able to optimize site performance for a 1.9 second load time!
